Did you know? Both Well ( Rural ) and Municipal ( City ) Water sources contain organics, oils, dirt, silt, metal particles and iron that your salt alone can't clean from your water softener resin? Over time these impurities build up in your water softener and severely reduce its ability to soften your water, wich damages your investment.
What is the solution? Pro Rust Out is a water softener treatment system to be used with salt to restore, maintain and protect your water softener investment. Pro Rust Out cleans organics, oils, dirt, silt, metal particles and iron <0.3 ppm ( For iron < 0.3 ppm, use Pro Softener Mate instead ) that salt alone can't handle.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - First Application: Pour 3 - 4 oz. Packets of Pro Rust Out directly into brine well. ( Softeners without a brine well, pour directly into the salt storage tank when the salt level is low . ) Manually regenerate the softener. Repeat for heavily fouled units.
Maintenance: Simply add 1 - 4 oz. packet of Pro Rust Out before each 40 - 50 lb. bag of salt. If you are adding multiple bags of salt, remember to layer Pro Rust Out between each 40 - 50 lb. bag to ensure a continuous dose.
( If your water contains < 0.3 ppm of iron, use Pro Softener Mate instead. )
