A1010 is a premium grade strongly acidic, gel-type cation exchange resin which will resist the damaging effects for Chlorinated water sources a little better than the standard 8 % crosslinked,styrene divinylbenzene resin.
Chlorine can and will break down this 10% cross link resins, but it will take longer.
How much longer depends on your application ( amount of water used and the chlorine level in the source supply ).
