10100a140802 Air Check Adapter to allow use of older style Air Check ( 36F )on newer Tank Adapter ( after 1993 ).
Or used to allow a direct elbow connection to tank adapter.

Has been listed in manuals as either PN 100A140802, or more recent manuals will have PN 1033066, for this adapater.

It also allows the use of a fitting directly to the Tank Adapter when an Air Check is not required.
